Geshes
Geshes are equivalent to PhDs in Buddhist Studies, having successfully completed the full course of studies in a Gelug monastic university.
This takes over 15 years of intensive philosophical studies on all major Buddhist texts and treatises, in addition to rigorous examinations in debating and logical reasoning.

Jampa Kunchog Pryor
Professor of Buddhist Philosophy, CEO
The founder of Scholastic Institute Chokyi Gyaltsen (SICGU) and SICGU Dhargey Publishing, Geshe Jampa Kunchog spent over twenty years in Dharamsala India, studying at Sera Jey Monastic University.

Jampa Khedup
Teacher of Tibetan Language and Grammar
Geshe Jampa Khedup studied at Sera Jey Monastic University. It was there that he and Geshe Jampa Kunchog met, the two of them becoming fast friends. Geshe Jampa Khedup moved to the United States
Tibetan Language & Assistant Teachers
Our language teachers have completed a PhD in Tibetan Language, or an equivalent Western University degree. Professor Khedup has also completed traditional Geshe studies at Sera Jey University.

Assistant Debate Teacher
Thubten Tamdrin was born in 1971 Araknang in Kham province of Tibet. He became a monk in 1978 and started his Buddhist studies in Kham, including philosophy, debate, logic, and Buddhist psychology.
